Cricket Australia (CA) on Monday announced the list of cricketers who are nominated for the Big Bash League (BBL) 2023-24 overseas drafts.
376 male cricketers from 29 countries are nominated for the overseas drafts.
The likes of Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed are the nominees among 376 cricketers.
Haris, who previously represented Melbourne Stars for three consecutive seasons, is likely to be retained by the same franchise because of his exceptional record of 30 wickets at an average of 16.40 in 18 matches.
Meanwhile, Shadab will be looking forward to his fourth BBL campaign as he previously played for Brisbane Heat in BBL|7 and then for Sydney Sixers in BBL|11.
He was also drafted by Hobart Hurricanes last season and played for the franchise, where he took seven wickets in five matches but his season was jeopardized by injuries.
Faheem Ashraf and Asif Ali have also played for the Hurricanes, while Usman Qadir has represented Sydney Thunders.
The drafts will take place on September 3 with four rounds, where every club would be allowed to pick a minimum of two and a maximum of three players.
The first two rounds will be in the lottery order, after which the "snake" format will be used meaning that the team having the last pick in the second round will get to pick first in the third round.
