Australia outclassed England by six wickets in the seventh match of the World Championship of Legends 2024 at Birmingham's Edgbaston stadium on Saturday.
Chasing 161-run target, Brett Lee's men chased down the total in 14 overs with Aaron Finch scoring 23-ball 56 while Shaun Marsh made 26-ball 42.
Ben Dunk (19) and Callum Ferguson (11) chipped in with vital contributions. Ben Cutting (10*) and Daniel Christian (18*) stayed till the end and completed the chase.
Owais Shah was England's best bowler, picking 2/31.
Earlier, England managed 160/9 after being put into bat first by Lee.
Ian Bell was the top-scorer for England, scoring 30 off 45 balls. Meanwhile, Phil Mustard made 13-ball 20 while Ravi Bopara contributed 22 off 15 balls. Ali Brown chipped in with 20-ball 26.
Australia's skipper Brett Lee was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/28 while Ben Laughlin took 2/25 and Dan Christian claimed 2/14.
Australia are now at the top of the table with two wins and a Net Run Rate of +2.765. India and Pakistan are second and third respectively.
