WWE Chief Content Officer (CCO) Triple H unveiled the new WWE RAW logo ahead of the show’s highly anticipated debut on Netflix in January 2025.
The redesigned logo marks the dawn of a new era for WWE RAW as it prepares to transition to the global streaming platform.
Triple H shared the updated branding on Twitter, generating buzz and building excitement for the historic move of WWE's flagship show to Netflix.
The announcement comes just days ahead of the "RAW on Netflix Kickoff" event, set to take place on December 18 at WWE Headquarters, serving as the final lead-up to RAW's Netflix debut.
The transition to Netflix was first hinted at in October when a leak from the wrestling action figure podcast Case Fresh revealed updated promotional images, including card art suggesting the move.
The inaugural episode of RAW on Netflix promises a thrilling start, featuring Roman Reigns facing Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match, along with Seth Rollins taking on CM Punk—both bouts already confirmed for the debut.
In a recent interview during the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Post-Show, Triple H discussed the significance of WWE's move to Netflix.
He emphasized that this move is a key component of WWE's broader global expansion strategy, made possible through their partnership with Netflix.
“As you know, this is part of WWE’s global expansion, which we’ve been very focused on in the last year, and a lot of that has to do with our deal that we have with Netflix,” Triple H said. “So January 6, sort of the big next evolution of WWE, heading to Netflix."
The WWE executive underscored the magnitude of the global reach, revealing that by January 6, the company’s shows will be available live to 80% of the world through Netflix, including countries such as Canada.
“At that time, 80% of the globe will hit Netflix live with Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and all our PLEs. The US will be slightly different, but that includes all of Canada, so when that date hits, you’re gonna get all WWE programming here. It’s a game-changer for WWE. We’re very excited about that.”
The former WWE Champion called the transition a "game-changer" for WWE, highlighting it as a significant milestone for the company.
He further emphasized the high expectations surrounding this global shift, noting that WWE's signature storytelling and athleticism will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Netflix experience.
“Hopefully, if we do our jobs well, they’ll get that same level of storytelling and athletics that make WWE as big as it is,” he added.
“There’s a lot of speculation about what we’re gonna go to and how it’s gonna be at Netflix. The truth is, we’ll just have to wait and see."
WWE is gearing up for a monumental shift as it ushers in a new era of sports entertainment with RAW's highly anticipated Netflix debut on January 6, 2024.
