The proposed schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be hosted by Pakistan, has been revealed, the Telegraph reported on Sunday.

Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore are set to host matches from February 19 to March 9.

The tournament features the top eight teams from last year's ODI World Cup, divided into two groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be held in Karachi and Rawalpindi on March 5 and 6, with the final scheduled for Lahore on March 9.

In Group A, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand will compete, while Group B includes England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan.

According to the schedule, Pakistan will kick off the tournament against New Zealand in Karachi on February 19, while India will face Bangladesh in Lahore on February 20.

India will play all their group matches in Lahore, meeting New Zealand on February 23, and facing arch-rivals Pakistan on March 1 in a highly anticipated match.

England's campaign will commence with a match against Australia in Lahore on February 22. They will then play against Afghanistan on February 25, and conclude their group stage against South Africa in Rawalpindi on March 2.

It must be noted all member countries, apart from India, have confirmed their support for the Champions Trophy to the ICC.

BCCI will make a decision after consulting with the government.
