KARACHI: Pakistan shooters Kishmala Talat and Gulfam Joseph continued their poor run at the 2024 Paris Olympics as they were knocked out of one more event on Monday.
Joseph and Kishmala participated in 10-meter mixed doubles but couldn't get to the final round.
Pakistan managed to get 571 out of 600 points in the mixed event and got 14th out of 17th position.
Pakistani shooters are now out of all 10-metre pistol events.
Kishmala will now participate in 25m rapid fire pistol event.
Earlier, Joseph, participating in the 10-metre air pistol competition, failed to qualify for the final round. He finished in 22nd position out of 33 shooters. Joseph scored 571 points out of 600.
Meanwhile, Kishmala could not advance to the final round of the 10-meter air pistol event. The Pakistani shooter scored a total of 567 points across six series. Kishmala scored 93 points in the first series, 97 in the second, and 94 in the third. In the last three series, she scored 93, 95, and 95 points.
Kishmala Talat did not make it into the top eight required for the final round. She ranked 32nd out of the 44 shooters.
